Costa Rica / Panama

The Yellowfin Tuna and Swordfish Fishery Improvement Project in Costa Rica is alligned with the United Nations Developement Project and the National Platform in Costa Rica and is now known publicly as the Costa Rica Large Pelagic Longline/green stick FIP. We will continue to support efforts to foster positive change in our supply chain with our traceability software and help move towards sustainability in the Tuna/ Swordfish/Mahi-Mahi fishery. Contact us today to see how you can help support.                                         

Fresh #1 and #2+ Yellowfin Tunas offerings have been less than usual as supply has been strained in CR and most of thier fish have been coming from Panama waters and even further out in the Pacific than usual, however we do expect to see more quality landings and plenty of fish to fill our suppply chain and more. We encourage all distibutors, restaurant hotel resort chefs and managers and consumers alike to contact us for direct shipments and on what you can do to support positive efforts to help  fishers and also restaraunts and retailrs as well as consumers and the world as a whole. 

 In Panama all boats are out now and will be landing much the same as in Costa Rica so we will be back having plenty of fresh quality products landing and offerings for you very soon.

Mexico

Fresh Grouper production in the Gulf is back!..however with Easter this month some fishers will take a break to spend time with family. We do expect to still see landings of Fresh Groupers return with Yellowtails and Lane Snappers as well as  American Red Snappers.
