Chefs Trading's Market Report for October, 2020. Fishing is good in Costa Rica and Panama!

Yellowfin Tuna pricing remains strong and we look to see production continue to be strong however we do expect to see  slightly lower than normal production of Yellowfin Tuna this month especially when and if Mahi is strong, both with great of the boat quality as usual, Traceable and direct shipping.  

Swordfish landing are expected to be strong with the full moon cycle as usual.

Mahi-mahi production is expect to be good this year as some of the signs are here. We do expect the season to kick off with good production and even better pricing by mid to end of month.

Maricultured Spotted Rose Snappers are still continuing to grow in popularity. Whole, Fillet and Butterfiled Fillets are available with a very long shelf life and perfect texture and flavor.

All our products are Traceable with our CT Tag technology and aim to help support our fisheries in the effort to become Sustainable via our Industry FIP funding model.

Black and Red Grouper productiuon is expected to continue to be steady. 

Yellowtail and Lane Snappers should should see an increase in landings this month.

Red Snapper volumnes should increase as well.
