The Yucatan Peninsula is historically part of the Mayan heartland, and its modern cuisine reflects the same sense of history and place. Nowhere is this more evident than in Progreso, where our Mexican fishery plies the waters for the large variety of unique local seafood found there.
Located at the intersection of the Gulf of Mexico, the Bay of Campeche and the Caribbean Sea, this area has a highly diverse range of snappers and groupers, just to name a few. Our fishery is family-owned and powered by three generations of experience. Their vast network of buyers scours thousands of miles of coastline in order to bring the highest quality of seafood to market.
They also hold the honor of being one of the few fisheries where the artisinal fleet is equal to if not greater than the industrial fleet and are one of the only SQF Certified businesses in the region.
